Bradenhead gas sources investigated in the Piceance, San Juan, Appalachian, and Washakie Basins on behalf of large independent oil and gas companies. Investigation led to the following results:
- Bradenhead gases derived from shallow to intermediate depth gas sands above producing horizon in all cases. Gases present as a consequence of compromised well bore integrity. Formal report to regulatory agency and/or hearings. Squeeze cement in some cases. Formally report to regulatory agencies and obtain variances to vent, gather, or combust annular gases.
